GRIPLAC SERENE SEMI PLASTIC EMULSION paint is splatter-resistant that provides maximum coverage, faster results and a flawless finish.
It is acrylic based paint for interior surfaces. The silk finish creates a subtle, reflecting glow perfect for brightening darker areas of your home.

Surface Preparation

 

New Or Bare Masonry Surfaces:
Bare masonry surfaces should be completely dry and free from dust, dirt and grease. Use a bleach solution to treat the surface affected by fungus. Apply GRIPLAC Acrylic Wall Primer and allow thorough drying. Sand and dust off. Smooth the surface by applying 2-3 coats of GRIPLAC Subtle Filling Putty. Sand and dust off thoroughly. Allow all the surface to dry completely prior to painting. Avoid paint if the moisture content and alkalinity of the walls is still high.

Previously Painted Surfaces: Sound Surface:
Loose and flaking paint must be scraped off. Defective areas should be sanded and smoothed using abrasive paper or wire brush and dust off. Primed with GRIPLAC  Wall Sealer. Fill the surface with GRIPLAC Subtle Filling Putty if necessary.

Severely Defected Surfaces:
Masonry work is recommended to repair large cracks and holes. Allow to dry thoroughly. Prime with GRIPLAC Acrylic Wall Primer. Fill with GRIPLAC Subtle Filling Putty. Scuff to make smooth and dust off  thoroughly.

Application

 

  • Stir well before use.
  • Application can be done by brush, roller or spray.
  • Thin (by volume) up to 30-40% with clean water for brush application, 20-30% for conventional roller application and 30 – 40% for air spray application.
  • Clean all equipment with clean water immediately after use.

 

Drying Time:  Touch dry : 30 minutes. (Dependent on temperature and humidity)

Hard dry: 1 hour

Re-coating Interval: 2-3 hours

Coverage: 12-14 sq.m per liter per coat. (May vary depending on the substrates conditions)

No. of Coats: 2-3

For Optimum Results:    Apply 1 coat of GRIPLAC Acrylic Wall Primer before  applying GRIPLAC SERENE SEMI PLASTIC EMULSION.
